As all drinkers of Penfolds know, age is a necessity if you want to experience the full complexity and thrill of these great Australian reds. That's why we're delighted to offer a range of maturing wines from the Penfolds stable, including two exceptionally rare bottlings.
But let's start with the classic, Grange, arguably the most complete and rewarding of all Australian wines. The 2014 was a recent exceptional vintage; the 1997 an all time great, and already drinking well. The Bin 407, inspired by the Bin 707, is a textbook Cabernet with structure and varietal definition. Finally, the Bin 90A and Bin 920, both hailing from the 1990 vintage, are the result of exceptional conditions producing wines as thrilling as they are rare.
