In Champagne, few words conjure the weight, grandeur, and romance of “tête de cuvée.”

Translated as the head or the top of the blend, tête de cuvées are the ultimate expressions of a château or grower’s style – some of the greatest, noblest Champagnes known to the world.

Almost exclusively vintage releases, they are made from the finest grapes and rarest crus and treated to meticulous handling in the cellar. Typically possessing a chiseled age-worthiness, they are often held back many years before appearing on the market. The great tête de cuvées are limited-edition collectibles, produced in a fraction of those already selective years that are declared vintages in Champagne.
