Since the inaugural vintage in 1990, Harlan Estate has become one of the wine world’s most prized and admired rarities. Beloved by critics and highly sought after by collectors, the estate’s mission is to create an old-world style California-blend with “First Growth” quality, typicity and pedigree.
Located deep in the western hills of Oakville, the property itself is rather discreet and unassuming in scale and grandeur. Production is notoriously limited and any desire to join their mailing list will require years of patience. To describe the estate as a “cult wine” is actually truly fitting, even if it is really much more than that.
The wines are full-bodied, concentrated, and have the ability to age for decades. Yet, even in their relative youth, the wines are both charming and pleasing – underneath, the wines showcase beautiful perfume, elegance and grace, akin to the greatest wines of Bordeaux.
Harlan’s resounding success paved the road ahead for founder, Bill Harlan, to establish Bond – an estate with a notable Burgundian-philosophy and focus of producing premium Cabernet from Napa’s finest individual sites.
We are pleased to offer an exciting and rare selection (in very limited quantities) of Harlan and Bond dating as far back to 2009! The magnums of Bond are especially thrilling and statement-grabbing!
