Sensuality and Perfume
Méo-Camuzet has long been one of the great names in the village of Vosne-Romanée, and today the wines are the best they've ever been. Méo's style of red Burgundy is generally richly fruited and intensely aromatic. These are gloriously showy, hedonistic wines which have given me some of my greatest Burgundy experiences.
The Vosne and the Nuits wines, including Echézeaux, represent the beating heart of the domaine, and show great sensuality and perfume. The Clos de Vougeot is one of the best examples of that often-variable site. The Frère et Soeur negociant wines offer fairly priced drinking in the same style as the domaine wines.
