Collection: Thursday Tasting: An Exploration with Masters of Wine

Sotheby’s is delighted to welcome two very special guests to our upcoming tasting on Thursday, December 11th: Charles Curtis MW and Mary Gorman McAdams MW. In honour of their visit – and in celebration of Explore the World of Fine Wine | The Institute of Masters of Wine Benefit Auction – we will be pouring six exceptional wines to close out the year, starting at 5pm in our retail store.

This exclusive auction, curated by Masters of Wine, showcases rare bottles, exclusive access to legendary estates, and one-of-a-kind wine experiences, offered directly by distinguished producers, wine estates and MWs themselves. The same depth of insight and exacting standards that define the MW community are reflected both in the auction collection and in the wines being poured at our tasting. By bringing MWs into the room, we aim to offer a glimpse into the expertise and global perspective that have shaped this remarkable sale.

All proceeds from the auction will support the Institute of Masters of Wine’s mission to foster excellence, collaboration and education across the international wine community, as well as to cultivate the next generation of wine leaders through its renowned study programme.
