Collection: Sensational Ramonet in Red and White

Chassagne-Montrachet's Domaine Ramonet has long been a guiding light for top-class white Burgundy. His family is fortunate to own parcels in many of the village's top Premiers Crus, along with small parts of four of the Montrachet Grands Crus. Somehow, Ramonet is often overlooked in discussions of the greatest producers of white Burgundy; this is an obvious mistake, due perhaps to the domaine not residing in the more famous villages of Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet.

Concentration, minerality and drive typify these wines, embodying the essence of white Burgundy. They generally need a little air (Ramonet is a prime candidate for decanting a white), and with that, they open gloriously, unveiling huge depths and aromatic complexity.

Ramonet is also renowned as one of the best producers of red wines in the traditional white wine villages of the Côte de Beaune. Chassagne has a long history of Pinot production, and the supple, aromatic reds emerging from the cellars of Domaine Ramonet will appeal to lovers of Côte de Beaune reds.
