Last Friday, Sotheby’s Breuer came alive for the inaugural New York edition of the NIGHTCAP Wine & Whisky Tasting – an evening devoted to the worlds of fine wine, spirits, gastronomy, and collecting.

We were delighted to welcome an exceptional group of collectors, enthusiasts, and friends of Sotheby’s for an evening of discovery, conversation, and tasting. Across the galleries, guests explored an extraordinary selection of wines and spirits, from legendary Bordeaux and Burgundy to California icons, Champagne, Italian classics, and distinguished whiskies.

Among the evening’s highlights were several bottles that offered a remarkable glimpse into the depth and breadth of the world’s great wine and whisky regions – including 2005 Château Lafite Rothschild, 2023 Domaine Roulot Meursault, 1er Cru, Clos des Bouchères, 2016 Vega Sicilia Único, 2018 Louis Roederer Cristal, Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Old, and The Glenlivet Single Malt 21 Year Old.
