Collection: de Vogüé: A Burgundy Landmark

Burgundy lovers are fortunate that one of the region’s most renowned Grand Cru vineyards is largely owned (around 70% of it) by one of the region’s finest producers: Comte Georges de Vogüé. De Vogüé's Musigny is one of Burgundy’s most essential wines, thanks to its consistently brilliant quality as well as its (relative) availability.

De Vogüé's Musigny combines Grand Cru richness and depth with great transparency and detail to the fruit – a difficult trick to pull off. Throw in some spectacular aromas (this is Chambolle, after all) and you have a starry wine. Of the vintages available here, the 2017 is wonderfully vibrant and pure, while the 2005 is drinking spectacularly well.

And let’s not neglect Bonnes Mares, another Grand Cru at the other end of the village. It is a touch more earthy than Musigny; lose yourself in the scents of forest and heath!
