Collection: Pierre Péters: Benchmark Blanc de Blancs

Champagne Pierre Péters, now under the direction of Rodolphe Péters, has established itself as a benchmark among grower champagnes, admired by collectors around the globe. The domaine is best known for its Blanc de Blancs – champagnes that exemplify Chardonnay’s precision and minerality.

The crown jewel from Pierre Péters is Les Chétillons, a single-vineyard wine from Le Mesnil that showcases the true depth and class of this Grand Cru terroir. From the same village comes the elusive Montjolys, sourced from a unique parcel of clay and flint – so distinct from the chalk-rich soils typically associated with the Côte des Blancs.

Yet it would be a mistake to overlook the domaine’s non-vintage Cuvée de Réserve. Far from ordinary, this cuvée is built on a single-vintage base, with nearly half of the blend drawn from a perpetual reserve of older wines dating back to 1988. The result is a champagne of remarkable complexity and depth, particularly compelling in the magnum format, where it offers exceptional value.
