Collection: Château Haut-Brion: A Legacy Celebrated at Auction
Sotheby’s is honoured to present Château Haut-Brion, Domaine Clarence Dillon: Celebrating Our 10th Decade of Family Stewardship, a landmark auction drawn exclusively from the legendary cellars of Château Haut-Brion. Marking ninety years of Dillon family stewardship since 1935, the sale celebrates one of Bordeaux’s most distinguished estates and its enduring legacy.
For the first time, a dedicated auction brings together an extraordinary range of Château Haut-Brion wines with impeccable provenance, spanning nearly a century from 1935 to 2025. From rare historic vintages to celebrated modern releases, the collection offers collectors a singular opportunity to acquire wines directly connected to the estate’s remarkable history.
Perfectly curated bottles are also highlighted in the “wine experiences” auction lots designed to offer wine lovers a better understanding of the Dillon family’s nine decades of work. There are six experiences included in the sale. For example, “The Soul of Château Haut-Brion,” with a €40,000 to €80,000 estimated sale price, features a visit to Château Haut-Brion, lunch in a private dining room prepared by a guest chef, and six 100-point Château Haut-Brion wines.
The auction closes October 1. With the sale now underway, collectors are invited to explore this exceptional offering and place their bids before the opportunity concludes.
