The Bernard Moreau domaine has long been a benchmark in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. Blessed with wonderful vineyard holdings and consistent high quality, it has been a staple of white Burgundy for decades. The domaine was split in 2021 between sons Benoît and Alex. While Benoît is making a slightly different style of wine, Alex is continuing the family tradition.

Currently in stock, we have the final vintage of the previous domaine, the excellent 2020, a vintage of concentration and energy which is now drinking well at all levels in white. We also have some of two top Volnay Premiers Crus: Santenots and Caillerets. These will continue drinking well for at least another decade. And from Alex's first vintage, 2021, we have a handful of bottles that capture the freshness both of the year and of his new style: bright, pure and terroir-expressive.
