From humble and passionate beginnings with Étienne Camuzet, the late twentieth century saw Jean-Nicolas Méo reclaim and assemble much of the current vineyard area and work closely with veritable legends such as Henri Jayer. As a result, Méo-Camuzet is nowadays reaping the benefits and crafting enthralling wines from an enviable list of fine holdings.
Sotheby’s Wine is pleased to add the wines of the small, yet bright 2019 vintage to our existing offering. This patchwork of distinct terroirs encompassing Nuits, Vosne, Chambolle and Grands Crus Echézeaux, Corton and Clos de Vougeot is all the more distinct, and indeed beautiful, when viewed through the lens of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated houses.
