Domaine & Cyprien Arlaud: Morey-Saint-Denis and Further Gems

Morey-Saint-Denis-based Domaine Arlaud is perhaps not new to Burgundy lovers, but their star winemaker Cyprien Arlaud undeniably goes from strength to strength as the vintages go by. From some of Morey’s deepest cellars, he fashions supple, fragrant and serious Burgundy.

We are pleased to offer an enticing range of wines from the ripe, succulent 2020 vintage. Following on from the likewise solar 2019 vintage, the wines display no shortage of fruit generosity, but all-important vibrant acidity and textural presence afforded by often crunchy tannins. Close followers of this Domaine and Cyprien himself have a particularly keen interest in the Gevrey 1er Cru ‘aux Combottes’ and the acclaimed range of Morey 1ers Crus, should you be feeling spoiled for choice.

These have been produced from closely managed purchased fruit contracts since 2012 and highlights include an approachable Bourgogne Rouge ‘OKA’ and a structured, robust Echézeaux.
