Arnaud Ente: Limited Production Gems

Victor Rabot |
Nestled in the heart of Meursault, Arnaud Ente, alongside his wife Marie-Odile, crafts extraordinary wines from their small but exceptional holdings across Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Volnay. With just four hectares of vines divided across 10 small vineyards, producing only 1,200 cases annually, each bottle reflects the unique character of its terroir.

Arnaud Ente’s largest holdings are in Meursault’s village-level “En L’Ormeau” vineyard, where he has divided the vines into three distinct categories based on their age. First, the generic Meursault, followed by “Clos des Ambres” from old vines, and finally the century vines called “Sève du Clos”. In addition to his village wines, Arnaud also produces exquisite Premier Cru offerings from Meursault’sGouttes d’Or” and Puligny-Montrachet’s Champ Gain” and “Referts.” The estate's red wine holdings include Volnay 1er Cru “Les Santenots du Milieu” and a Bourgogne Rouge.

Since 2018, Arnaud decided to vinify primarily in Wineglobes to maintain freshness and reduce oak influence, producing wines that offer a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. With meticulous attention to detail, Arnaud Ente's wines stand out for their harmony and refinement.

Due to the high demand and limited production of Arnaud Ente's wines, they are often difficult to find. We are pleased to offer you a selection from the outstanding 2019 vintage.
