Ask Burgundy collectors their favourite vineyard for red wines, and many will respond: Grand Cru Musigny. Indeed, Musigny at its best is a remarkably complete red Burgundy: displaying huge aromatic depth, sumptuous fruit and an age-worthy structure, with almost staggering complexity and beauty throughout. The principal owner of this hallowed site is Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (they own 7.12ha of a total vineyard surface of 10.85ha).
We are pleased to offer no fewer than eight vintages of this Burgundy great. Try the 1999 or 2005 now for mature, resplendent pleasure, or lighter vintages such as 2014 or 2017 for youthful accessibility. The Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru is simply younger vines from Musigny, and always affords outstanding drinking.
