Today marks the release of the highly anticipated 2016 vintage from Château Latour, a wine that has garnered multiple 100-point scores. Consequently, 2016 is now recognized as one of the greatest vintages of the century.

The 2016 Latour showcases remarkable complexity and depth, with layers of concentrated flavors supported by a firm, finely structured tannic backbone. The unmistakable intensity of Latour is fully realized in this vintage. As Neal Martin of Vinous puts it:

"This is everything you could really wish for in a Latour. The 2016 can be uttered in the same breath as the 1900, 1924, 1959, 1961, 1982, and 2010. Magnificent."

Equally compelling, the 2019 Les Forts de Latour is not to be missed. While undeniably charming and supple, it is underpinned by a refined tannic structure and a vibrant, sappy freshness.
