Collection: 2024 Domaines Ott and the Exceptional L’Etoile 2022

This week’s heat calls for none other than the gold standard of Provençal rosé: Domaines Ott. Farming three properties across the Côtes-de-Provence and Bandol, Ott offers true terroir wines from each site and stunning consistency across the years. These are wines that can be drunk on release, or with a few years of age; on their own, or as surprisingly satisfying food wines.
All orders placed this week will be ready for Manhattan delivery on July 2nd and Hamptons delivery on July 3rd. Additionally, a 10% discount will be applied to all orders with a quantity of 12 or more of the single-vineyard wines at checkout.
2024 Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Côtes-de-Provence Rosé – $59.95
A stunning ocean-side vineyard planted to 66% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, and the remainder Vermentino. The most bracingly fresh of the trio, balancing citrus zest and yellow peach with sea spray and fennel. 93 pts, Vinous
2024 Domaines Ott Château de Selle Côtes-de-Provence Rosé – $59.95
The heart of Ott’s production with a balanced blend of 55% Grenache, and the remainder filled out by Cinsault, Mourvedre, and Syrah. A more herbal, floral expression than Mireille, with classic notes of garrigue, grapefruit, and jasmine. Broader and more textured, but no less at home with oysters and salmon crudo. 92 pts, Vinous
2024 Domaines Ott Château Romassan Bandol Rosé – $59.95
Typical of Bandol, this is based on 60% Mourvedre with 20% each of Cinsault and Grenache. The most structured of the three. The 2024 is already showing elegant notes of orange peel, rose, and herbs. This will certainly reward a year or two of aging and ambitious pairings like grilled lobster and tuna steaks. 94 pts, Vinous
2022 Domaines Ott Étoile Rosé – $195
78% Grenache from de Selle and Mireille, 22% Mourvedre from Romassan. Étoile is Ott’s tête de cuvée, drawing the best fruit from each property for balance, texture, and rare aging capacity. Extended élevage in concrete spheres builds a delicately layered midpalate. Stylistically, Étoile is somewhere between the mouthwatering freshness of the single-vineyard wines and the sumptuous texture of white Rhône blends. Unique and singularly age-worthy.
