But Alessandria's wines take this a step further, with a gentleness of touch and aromatic sophistication that beguiles.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe are currently selling two very contrasting vintages, both of which are in prime shape to drink today. \u003cstrong\u003e2017\u003c\/strong\u003e was a warm, concentrated year but is maturing relatively quickly, while \u003cstrong\u003e2018\u003c\/strong\u003e is one of the lighter years in recent times. What the wines lack in structure for aging, they compensate for with \u003cstrong\u003ewinsome aromatics and silky textures.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBurlotto's Barolo\u003c\/strong\u003e is a blend from several vineyards in \u003cstrong\u003eVerduno\u003c\/strong\u003e, while the \u003cstrong\u003eAcclivi\u003c\/strong\u003e is a selection from top parcels within the same sites.
