Long before the American takeover of the estate in 2017, the wines were already among the region’s finest. Now, they are yet more refined and pure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eBonneau du Martray\u003c\/strong\u003e style harnesses the richness and power of \u003cstrong\u003eCorton-Charlemagne\u003c\/strong\u003e to a slightly reductive winemaking style. The result is concentration and sleekness, with great reserves of fruit and minerality. The latest development at the estate is the renaming of the \u003cstrong\u003eflagship wine\u003c\/strong\u003e simply to \u003cstrong\u003eCharlemagne\u003c\/strong\u003e, a nod to the names of the plots from which the fruit is sourced.
